Gabriel Orozco:Asterisms

28 Nov

I’ve mentioned before that I enjoy everyday things turned into works of art. In Gabriel Orozco’s latest exhibition Asterisms at the The Guggenheim Museum, he does just that, he brings discarded everyday items into the forefront. The exhibit showcases debris collected at both a playing field in New York and the coast of Baja California Sur, Mexico. What do you think of everyday items converted into art?
