Diana Vreeland surrounded by red furnishings- series, 1979

I’ve always liked people who march to the beat of their own drum, I simply find them more interesting. Which is why I enjoyed watching Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has to Travel a documentary that focuses on the life of Diana Vreeland who was the fashion editor at Harper’s Bazaar for over twenty-five years and then went on to work at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. Not only did she have an interesting life but her perspective on fashion and life was equally fascinating. Before there was Anna Wintour there was Diana Vreeland. If you like fashion and documentaries, I think you’ll enjoy this film.
